Dr. K. Sendhil Kumar, Founder and Chief, Gateway clinics, did his Under graduation and Post graduation at Coimbatore medical College. After completing his post graduation, he joined Dr. C. Palanivelu and worked with him for 14 years (from 1995 to 2009). During this period he completed DNB in surgical Gastroenterology.
In DNB Surgical Gastroentrology exit examination, he scored nationwide 1st rank. During his stay in Gem Hospital, he has mastered the art of basic and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. He is also an expert in therapeutic endoscopy, doing all advanced endoscopic works. He has presented many research papers in National and International conferences. His research papers on advance laparoscopic surgery in the field of pancreatic and rectal cancers got published in international journals. He has organized many live surgical workshops and training courses. He is teaching faculty for various laparoscopic surgery training courses conducted across India. His special interest is advance laparoscopic surgery and therapeutic endoscopy, especially laparoscopic cancer surgery. He has passed his super specialty course in surgical gastroenterology with All India Level first rank.

Dr.Piyush Patwa , DNB, Fellow in minimal access surgery is experience in basic and Advanced laparoscopic surgery and working as Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon at Gateway Clinics, Coimbatore in department of Surgical Gastroenterology. He was Organizing committee member of 1st National live laparoscopy conference” Celloscope 2013 – Beyond Basic Laparoscopy, & Organizing secretary of 2nd & 3rd National live laparoscopy conference “Celloscope 2014 & 2015 -A step Ahead of Basic Laparoscopy” & Co-director of Laparoscopic Hernia surgery Training program.
Dr. Latif Bagwan MS., FMAS., FIAGES., FACS.,
Dr.Latif Bagwan is a Consultant GI and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Gateway Clinics and Hospital. He did his PG at Dr. D.Y.Patil University, Kolhapur & stood first in his batch. He has worked in the Department of Surgery as Asst. Professor in UCMS & GTB Hospital Delhi. He is trained in Surgical Gastrointestinal, Basic and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. He has a vast experience in complicated Gastrointestinal Surgery as well as basic and advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. He has organized various meeting and conference and was organizing secretary of Celloscope 2014 and 2015. He has published articles in national journal and present papers in national and international conferences.
Dr. Kandasamy MS., DLS., FIAGES.,
Dr. Kandasamy is an experienced laparoscopic surgeon with the special area of interest in Colorectal and piles surgery with the advance technologies in the field. He is Life member of many prestigious societies like ASI, IAGES, AMASI etc.
He is dedicated in patient care and also keen in the endoscopic therapeutic procedures.

Dr.Anitha, Spear heads the women wing of Gateway with 12 years of experience in the field of Obs & Gynecology. Very active, energetic, enthusiastic, experienced in field, patient friendly and approachable member of the team. Trained in Ultrasound under the renowned hands of Dr. Suresh of Mediscan Systems – Chennai. Field of Interest – Infertility & USG related to infertility/Follicular study/OBGYN, High Risk Obstetrics, Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy, Adolescent counselling & Hospital Administration. She has organised & done the Master of ceremonies in many OBS & GYN & infertility conferences in past few years.
